George Tselikis was
appointed Chairman of the Board on February 2002. He received his
diploma in Electrical Engineering from the National Technical
University of Athens (NTUA) in 1993 and his Ph.D. from NTUA in 1997.
At the end of 1997 he joined the COMET group in the Center for
Telecommunications Research at Columbia University and worked as a
post-doc research associate until the end of 1998. In April of 1998
he joined the Xbind, Inc. where he was the main contributor to the
MPEG-4 standards in the area of developing a reference
implementation of DMIF. He joined 4Plus in 1999 and has held a
number of technical and management positions since that time. His
research interests focus on the provision of signaling services in
broadband and wireless networks. He has participated in several
research projects funded by the European Commission and has
co-operated with the major European telecommunication companies.
